  • The staff at Heiseikan Shiosaitei are incredibly friendly and attentive, which really enhances the overall experience. You can enjoy stunning ocean views right from your room! Breakfast is a treat for seafood lovers, but keep in mind that options for Western and vegetarian diets are limited.
  • Both rooms come with private open-air onsens facing the ocean. The view is absolutely priceless! While the hotel may be older, it’s well-maintained and clean. The morning buffet is a must-try! Just note that it’s a bit out of the way from the station, but a quick taxi ride does the trick.
  • I took a leap of faith by booking this ryokan for my solo trip, and wow, I’m so glad I did! From the moment I arrived, the warm welcome from the staff made me feel right at home. The spacious tatami room with a sea view was just perfect for relaxation!
  • The hot springs were such a highlight during my stay! The large public bath was clean and lovely. Dining while gazing at the sea added an extra touch to my meals. Although it’s slightly distant from Hakodate’s main area, it turned out to be an excellent choice.
  • I had such a relaxing time here! The scenery was breathtaking, especially with that ocean view. Both dinner and breakfast were fantastic choices—everything tasted delicious! Just wish I could have sampled more from their extensive menu.
