I had a wonderful stay at Faros Old City Hotel in Istanbul! The service was truly exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The location is perfect for exploring the city.
The hotel staff, including Murat, Ilhan, and Ömer, were lovely and spoke good English. They provided excellent recommendations for local attractions and transport options. However, I was disappointed that the standard room did not have a view as expected.
Spacious room & clean, good breakfast and nice view. Close to tram station and walking distance to tourist attractions like Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, and Topkapi Palace.
This hotel is only a 5-minute walk to Sultanhamet Square for the Blue Mosque and Ayas Sofia. The first room was small but we were moved to a bigger one later on.
The location itself is very good, though construction noise could be an issue during the night. Friendly staff provided helpful information about nearby places.
