Staff were lovely, room was comfortable and clean. Centrally located at a reasonable price. Recommend the hotel as a hotel but…
Chloe and Andy had a drunken row in the corridor at 3am after returning from their night out. This is not the hotel’s fault, but being centrally located near bars/clubs may attract similar disturbances. A dedicated floor for families or non-party goers could improve future stays.
Stayed on a Saturday night with no real complaints. Room was clean enough, though there were stains on the carpet and chair. Brian at reception is great; ask him to show you his card tricks!
Booked this location for a concert at the arena; it couldn’t be more convenient! Parking in the multi-story is expensive at £15 for 24 hours. The hotel is average and undergoing refurbishment soon, which is needed as rooms are worn but clean.
Website claims air conditioning in every room, but there was none. No USB or international plugs available either. Staff seemed snooty, yet overall cleanliness and location were decent. Rating of 2 out of 5 stars due to misleading information on the website.
In mid-August, it was very hot with no fans and windows that didn’t open, but it offered great value and a very comfortable bed.
