What a fabulous hotel! The decor is a little old fashioned, but the view of Lake Ashi with Mount Fuji in the distance is incredible. The staff went out of their way to celebrate our son’s birthday, and the spacious room was beautifully clean and quiet.
This beautifully designed hotel offers a serene escape right by the lake, with stunning views and an exceptional outdoor onsen. The festive outdoor Christmas lights add to the magical atmosphere.
The check-in staff were kind, and we enjoyed interacting with animals at an adjacent facility. Our evening overlooking Lake Ashi was peaceful, and we loved spending time in the large public bath.
Our family had a wonderful experience at The Prince Hakone Lake Ashinoko. The location provided breathtaking views, making it great value for our stay.
While the hotel is not the newest, we enjoyed the beautiful view from our room and appreciated the spacious onsen facilities. We used the hotel’s free shuttle service from Odawara station to explore nearby attractions easily.

The property does not allow guests with tattoos.
