• The hotel overall was average, hence the four-star rating. The common areas were upscale and detail-oriented. However, the hallways were dark, which detracted from the ambiance. The bathroom had a modern feel, but the lighting in the room was dim. While there were sleek upgrades like wall fixtures and a 52″ television, the mattress is ready to be replaced, showing noticeable slumps on both sides.
• The hotel’s location, transportation, parking, front desk service, and room cleanliness were all excellent. It offered great value for a trip to Chicago for New Year’s Eve. However, the cleaning staff started knocking at 9:00 AM, which felt intrusive after a late night celebration.
• I was happy with everything despite this being a last-minute booking. The location was within walking distance of many attractions in downtown Chicago. The room was clean and comfortable with friendly staff.
• Fantastic location that is very walkable and about half a block from Magnificent Mile. Cleanliness could improve in the shower area but overall it provided good value with friendly staff and quick check-in.
• I booked this hotel at the last minute due to its low price. I was pleasantly surprised by the generous size of the room and its cleanliness while being centrally located just off Michigan Avenue without street noise.
