The staff was so kind and the location was amazing. However, I felt really disappointed by the room! I even had the room upgraded because the first room they gave me looked like a closet and smelled bad- and like smoke in the bathroom. They reluctantly upgraded me saying I had to check out a half hour earlier because they had people coming for that room the next day- but they did offer to take care of my bags and that I could use the pool and facilities. The room window looked out on the courtyard with zero natural light and no views of any outside. The furniture also felt quite used like it was time for an update. It was surface clean but still didn’t feel that clean.
There was some sort of miscommunication between Agoda and hotel and us and our room was canceled. It was very upsetting and confusing for us. The hotel, thankfully, still had a room for us, albeit a smaller one than booked…but Nicolas helped put us in a smaller room for first 2 nights, then kindly upgraded us, for the inconvenience, to a bigger room with terrace for remaining nights. This made a big difference for our stay and helped our mother-daughter trip be a great one. Thank you, Nicolas!
It was close to the city center and very convenient, with supermarkets and cafes nearby. I stayed for two nights on a Friday and Saturday in late June, and the price was reasonable. The shower had good water pressure, the drainage was smooth, and the place felt clean. There was a balcony, but it was too hot to spend much time outside. There wasn’t a washing machine, but when I asked the hotel staff, they directed me to a nearby coin laundry. They don’t understand Japanese, but they could understand my broken English. The staff were kind.
Excellent location and lovely hotel, the cleanliness in the rooms could be better but otherwise it was great, will definitely book again.
We were welcomed with a glass of cava when we checked in. A nice touch and the staff at the front desk were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was topnotch. When it comes to value for money, it was the best of the four hotels I stayed in the city around in the past 7 days and the lowest priced. Mind you, I got a promotional price (I guess because the booking was for Sunday night ?).
