🍽️ Best Review Summary

[Detailed Review Scores]
세부 평가 점수 정보 없음
  • Rooms are small and dark. The triple room we stayed in had hardly any space to move around, with a frosted partition between the bedroom and bathroom. Daily cleaning of the floors was not up to standard. However, the location is convenient, being close to the train station and numerous attractions. While the staff were generally polite, Marco at reception stood out for his helpfulness in arranging taxis and guiding us to nearby sites. Overall, I felt it did not offer good value for money.
  • This hotel boasts an ideal location with friendly, professional staff. We enjoyed three fabulous days here after a major issue with our previous accommodation. The breakfast was outstanding and offered great value; the wine selection was delightful.
  • During my short stay of two nights, I found it very convenient for walking everywhere, just a 15-minute stroll from Termini train station. Breakfast provided an impressive array of options including cold cuts, eggs, sausage, bread, cereal, and desserts. There was a coffee machine that was somewhat confusing to use; I would have preferred having coffee or hot water readily available.
  • I chose this hotel for its proximity to major tourist attractions in Rome—just a five-minute walk to the Pantheon and about ten minutes to Circus Maximus/Colosseum/Trevi Fountain. The staff were friendly and communicated well in English.
  • Rome Times Hotel has room conditions that differ from what was reserved. I booked a Junior Suite meant for four people but received a room with one sofa bed and one rollaway bed instead of two single beds as advertised on Agoda. When I addressed this issue with the staff, they insisted it was indeed the original configuration despite acknowledging discrepancies between their setup and Agoda’s photos.
  • The shower room lacked a door entirely; it should have featured an automatic glass door which was missing. Although there was a toilet door for privacy, this design is unsuitable for families with children entering puberty who require privacy while showering. Despite my complaints about this issue being common across many rooms at the hotel, it did not resolve my discomfort during my stay.
  • I requested a room change but was informed no rooms matching Agoda’s description were available nor any rooms equipped with doors for showers. Communication barriers hindered progress as different staff members provided conflicting information over two days regarding potential solutions.
  • While other hotels during my trip excelled in service and comfort, Rome Times Hotel only had its location going for it. It does not deserve its 4-star rating; rather it’s more akin to a 3-star establishment or lower due to small rooms without proper shower doors and indifferent staff attitudes.
