- A bit of a walk into City centre, but OK. We got a decent deal booking late, so for us good value for York. Pool a bit smaller than the pics. And you have to book your 30 mins. I suppose this means no overcrowding, but 30 mins not enough for us. Room really nice, bar area really nice too. Overall a nice night away, if I got the same deal again, would book again. I didn’t have a car, so avoided parking charge.
- I could say this is the best hotel of my overall 14 night trips. The hotel got me the spacious room. The room was very clean. The staffs were polite and helpful. The location is not the best but still really good if you would like to hang out around the city center. It’s just 15 minute walk from the city center or you can catch the bus. It takes only 10-15 minutes. We really fall in love with this city and this hotel.

- Very pleased with our stay. Lovely hotel. Very clean. Staff were so helpful, absolutely fabulous. Facilities included the use of a pool which was great when staying with kids. Close to all the sights so can’t recommend it enough.
- When we got to the room and we untucked the blankets, we saw that there were a stain on the blanket. So I asked the staff to give me a new blanket cover, and they gave me but the new blanket cover had a tear on it. So I had to change it again. And also on the bedsheet under the pillows, there was also a stain on it. We checked the blankets in the closet, and the blankets looked really bad and moldy. The aircon did not work and we had to sleep with a fan that we had to ask. I was not too thrilled with the stay unfortunately.
