• The property is simply beautiful. The rooms are spacious and neat, but what really sets this place apart is the warmth of every staff member. Plus, if you’re a dog lover, you’ll absolutely fall for their adorable Akita resident!
• The layout is fantastic, especially the tea house surrounded by stunning highland mountains. It’s conveniently located just a short 15-minute walk from the new ancient town (Shu He) and has a peaceful atmosphere. Oh, and did I mention they have three dogs and one cat on-site? My kids loved playing with “Na Zha,” the friendly Akita!
• The staff goes above and beyond! They helped us book transportation using the local DiDi app right from their phone and ensured we got to our destination without any hassle. They even let us use the common dining table for food we brought back—talk about accommodating!
• If you’re traveling with friends or family who speak Chinese, that’s great! But don’t worry if not; many staff members speak excellent English. We had an issue with our toilet at night, but someone was quick to come up and fix it without any trouble. The hotel is near an old town that feels less commercialized than Lijiang’s main attractions—definitely more my style.
