- I absolutely loved staying here, and the staff would second that since I cancelled my plans to travel out of Edinburgh just so I could remain in this hotel. The room was lovely and I lucked out w a room w a lovely view of the castle. It was extremely clean and cozy. The bathroom was the best with towel warmers and the excellent quality toiletries. The spa downstairs was really nice, and I enjoyed it at least 3-4 times during my stay. The food was delicious from the restaurant below, and the staff were really warm and friendly. They took great care of me. I absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Edinburgh, but make sure to book in advance!
- We loved our stay at Kimpton in Edinburgh! Everything was within walking distance, and the room was super clean and cozy. The food was amazing, and the staff were lovely.
- A messy start with our room being given right at 3pm despite our early arrival… then we found dirty clothes from the previous occupant in our side drawer. However, the hotel took our concerns seriously and made it up to us with a lovely card & wine along with complimentary drinks too. Breakfast was okay; it was better when it had table service under the Roxburgh brand.
- Overall, I had a good stay at Kimpton but did feel that my room seemed a bit rundown even though I got one with a view of Edinburgh Castle which was lovely. It felt strange having to walk through Baba restaurant to get to my room via guest elevators—definitely an awkward experience while going to/from the pool/gym.
- It’s a really nice place to stay! The staff were so friendly, and I truly enjoyed staying here for 5 nights!
