We had an absolutely wonderful overnight stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the front office staff made us feel warmly welcomed with their professionalism and friendliness. The highlight of our stay was meeting the head chef, who personally ensured we got exactly what we wanted.
This hotel is a great getaway spot! We visited during the offseason and were greeted with a traditional ceremony. The location by the lagoon and beach is simply stunning. Rooms are clean, spacious, and most offer calming ocean views!
The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home right from check-in. The room was spotless and incredibly comfortable. This place truly feels like a haven for relaxation!
During our two-night stay at Thaala Bentota, we found the food to be excellent with a good variety available. Special shoutout to our host Hansaji for making us feel welcome! The warm atmosphere really added to our experience.
The Thaala might just be the most comfortable hotel we’ve stayed in while traveling in Sri Lanka. Great beach access and facilities on site! Just one small hiccup with a musty smell in the room, but overall it was an excellent experience. Breakfast buffet selection was top-notch!
