- Loved the hotel! It was clean, spacious, and had nice-smelling toiletries. Enjoyed coffee and tea in the lobby every morning, plus a happy hour with beer and wine daily from 5-6 PM. The vinyl record player in each room was such a fun touch! Fisherman’s Wharf area felt very safe, making it an excellent location.
- Perfect for our needs! The location was great—close to bus stops and easy to walk around. There’s a fantastic restaurant on the first floor too. Just a small note on the shower design; it didn’t have a door or curtain, which made it chilly while showering. Also, some plugs by the bedside didn’t work. But overall, great value and lovely staff!
- Love this location! Only a 10-minute walk to Pier 39 and In-N-Out is right across the street! The F tram is just a minute away for affordable city travel (definitely grab that Muni day pass). Room was comfy with good water pressure. Amenities were high quality but there’s an extra charge of about $32 per day (excluding tax). Reception staff were super helpful—valet service might be pricey but worth it for peace of mind.
- Everything about Kimpton Alton hotel is amazing! Cleanliness, location near bars and cafes close to Fisherman’s Wharf is a big plus! Staff are welcoming too. I missed breakfast since my rate didn’t include it, but they offer free unlimited drinks (wines, beers) every afternoon from 4-5 PM along with a $20 voucher for snacks at the grocery nearby.
- Fantastic stay overall! Perfect location for exploring San Francisco. Friendly staff made us feel welcome right away. Facilities were top-notch—our room was spotless! Couldn’t ask for better value for money; highly recommend this hotel for an enjoyable experience!
