🍽️Best Review Summary

• Location 8.8
• Cleanliness 8.7
• Service 8.6
• Value for money 8.4
  • I recently used Seaside Hotel Maiko Villa Kobe for a live event. While it felt a bit pricey during the holiday period, I found it cheaper than other options. The hotel has a main building and a spa building; I stayed in the latter, which was quite nice. The room was spacious with two large beds and a glass-enclosed bath area that added a touch of luxury.
  • The cleanliness impressed me greatly, especially in the public bath area where lockers were conveniently arranged for changing. It made the experience much easier! The indoor and outdoor baths were fantastic, particularly the outdoor one that helped relieve my travel fatigue.
  • I decided to add breakfast for an extra 3,000 yen, and wow, it was worth it! The mini croquettes and pumpkin soup stood out as highlights. And don’t miss out on the Setouchi lemon soft serve—it was delicious!
  • The staff’s attentiveness was remarkable; they kept serving breakfast even after hours as long as guests were present—definitely not something I expected! However, be aware that walking to the station can be tricky due to its location on a hill; my knees didn’t appreciate that too much.
  • I traveled with my elderly mother who enjoyed our sea view room on the 13th floor. The breakfast buffet had plenty of tasty options to choose from. Despite some minor concerns about amenities like shower caps and meal options nearby, we ended up having a delightful dinner at their top-floor restaurant.
  • The service at check-in was friendly even late at night when I arrived solo after dinner with friends. The newly reopened large bath until midnight allowed for some late-night relaxation—a perfect way to unwind!
  • The hotel’s cleanliness is commendable overall. You can enjoy stunning views of both the sea and Akashi Kaikyō Bridge right from your room! But keep in mind that it’s somewhat remote from Sannomiya with limited nearby facilities.
  • This lovely hotel features well-maintained gardens matching its beautiful surroundings while offering comfort inside clean rooms along with an ample breakfast buffet. If you stay in the new wing like I did, just prepare for a bit of walking back to the main building!
