🍽️ Best Review Summary

[Detailed Review Scores]
• Service 9.4
• Cleanliness 9.0
• Value for money 9.0
• Facilities 8.9
  • Transportation – If you’re planning to visit Tsuruya Kisshotei, I highly recommend reserving the Odoriko Limited Express from Tokyo, Shinagawa, or Yokohama Station. It takes you directly to the shuttle bus stop, making your journey super convenient!
  • Onsen Experience – I booked a suite with a private bath and also enjoyed the public and rental baths. Honestly, my skin felt rejuvenated after soaking in those waters—totally worth it!
  • Dining Delight – The kaiseki meal served in our private room was outstanding! Even as someone who isn’t big on seafood, I savored every dish without any fishy flavors. And guess what? You can request more tempura for free! The golden eye snapper was a standout; I’d go back just for that.
  • Room Comfort – Our suite had everything—a cozy bedroom, living area, terrace with a bath, shower room, and even complimentary drinks and snacks. Just a heads-up though: it can get dry near the beach and we did have some flies come in due to the warm weather.
  • Staff Service – The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. Just keep in mind there are no elevators; you’ll be using stairs which could be tricky if you’re carrying heavy luggage.
  • If I could rate this hotel beyond five stars, I would give it ten! Their unique shuttle service is fantastic but make sure you’re aware of your station options to avoid confusion.
  • The ocean view from our hot spring room was breathtaking—imagine waking up to that! Plus, they offer all-you-can-eat tempura during dinner…talk about indulgence!
  • The amenities were top-notch; even though there’s not much nearby aside from a small mart, the hotel has everything you need for a relaxing stay.
  • This place is perfect for anyone looking to unwind by listening to ocean waves while enjoying delicious meals. Highly recommend staying here if you ever find yourself in Izu!
