- The showerhead and electric kettle were clean, and cooking tools with an induction cooktop were available. The ingredients for grilled pork belly were prepared for charcoal cooking. It was quiet, providing a peaceful rest away from the busy streets of Hongridangil. However, construction noise from a hanok nearby could be heard early in the morning. The bedding and room cleanliness were satisfactory, and the owner was kind and responsive.
- After searching through 20-30 accommodations in Gyeongju, I found Seonamsan Hanok Stay to exceed my expectations despite initial reservations. Cleanliness was not an issue for me; I found it very clean overall. The personal maru (veranda) added significant value to our stay, and I highly recommend utilizing the barbecue facilities if possible. It was conveniently located about a 10-minute drive from Hwangridan-gil.
- Our family’s first trip to Gyeongju was enhanced by this hanok stay, which the kids absolutely loved. The nearby hanok houses created a beautiful ambiance at night when we enjoyed the scenery from the daecheongmaru.
- During our urgent visit in early July, we enjoyed using the swimming pool, which was perfect for children. Although it wasn’t completely soundproof as mentioned in previous reviews, we managed to eat and sleep peacefully. We paid an additional fee for barbecue use and had a delightful experience on the outdoor deck table. Air conditioning worked well to keep us comfortable at night despite bugs around.
- The room was very nice and comfy, although it is somewhat distant from tourist attractions. If you plan to rent a car, this location provides a unique experience worth considering.
