• We had an absolutely wonderful overnight stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the front office staff made us feel warmly welcomed with their professionalism and genuine friendliness. The highlight of our stay was meeting the head chef, who ensured we received exactly the food we wanted.
• This hotel is a great getaway option! We arrived during the offseason and were welcomed with a traditional ceremony. The location by the lagoon in Bentota is stunning, and the rooms are clean, well-maintained, and offer calming ocean views.
• The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The check-in process was quick, and every interaction was marked by friendliness. The atmosphere of the hotel was calm and inviting, making it a true haven.
• Our experience at Thaala Bentota was pleasant and comfortable. The food quality was excellent with a good variety available. Special mention to our host Hansaji for making us feel right at home! Nishadi from the restaurant added to the warm atmosphere with her friendly demeanor.
• The Thaala might be one of the most comfortable hotels we’ve stayed in during our travels in Sri Lanka. It has beach access and great facilities on-site. Just a heads up though, while everything else was fantastic, there was a slight musty smell in our room due to humidity. However, it didn’t overshadow an otherwise excellent stay!
