I stayed for 1 night and had no problems. The staff were super welcoming, which made the check-in process smooth. Plus, it’s just a short walk from Izmir Basmane train station!
The room had a bit of an old smoke smell—definitely could use some freshening up. I think switching to wooden floors would be way cleaner and healthier. Also, double insulation could help with the noise from passing trains.
I noticed some issues like dusty locations, broken cabinets, and a shower that looked moldy and rusty. The curtains seemed like they hadn’t been washed in ages—kind of gross to touch! But hey, the breakfast was decent; still not worth the price we paid though.
The breakfast definitely needs improvement to match a 4-star hotel standard. It’d be nice if they offered all kinds of hot drinks like cappuccino too!
Overall, it’s a good place to stay if you’re looking for budget-friendly options.
