The only good thing about our stay was the fact that it lasted 2 nights. Unfortunately, the room felt like an oven due to the heat in Manchester, and the shower temperature was a challenge—definitely not ideal for comfort. Filling a plastic bottle with tap water just to wash up isn’t something I’d want to do again. Also, remember to put out the sign for housekeeping; otherwise, you might end up with an unmade room!
I stayed one night at Best Western Plus Pinewood on Wilmslow and had a pleasant experience overall. The charming classical décor really caught my eye, and cleanliness was top-notch. Free parking is always a bonus, plus the staff were friendly and helpful. Just keep in mind that noise from the hallway can be heard quite clearly—something to consider if you’re sensitive to sound.
Stayed two nights. Spotless accommodations and good food. The staff were nice too! It’s always refreshing when everything comes together for a comfortable stay.
I have stayed in this hotel quite a few times. It’s convenient for visiting family and consistently clean with a good breakfast. However, I’m not thrilled about their new parking fees—sounds like just another way to make extra cash. It’s disappointing since it used to be such a lovely family-run place.
