- Museum Apartment Hotel is a beautiful place, especially on the ground floor. However, for the price, it could use a bit of TLC in the rooms. The hotel promised a buffet breakfast which wasn’t available, so updating that info would be great. The TV is pretty old and lacks smart features, plus there were broken jets in the spa pool.
- The staff at Museum Apartment Hotel truly go above and beyond! They surprised us with a bottle of wine and chocolates to celebrate our family milestone after I emailed them about our plans. It was such a sweet touch that made our stay even more memorable.
- The hotel’s location is fantastic—close to Te Papa museum and Wellington’s nightlife street, Courteney Place. Our spacious room had artsy decor and was well-equipped with amenities like a dishwasher and washing machine. Plus, we loved having a jacuzzi in the bathroom for some extra relaxation!
- The spacious apartment featured comfortable beds, decent showers, and an impressive kitchen area with all necessary appliances. The artwork throughout added charm to the space, making it feel special.
- If you’re considering an accessible unit here, keep in mind it may lack certain comforts like couches or comfy seating areas. We adjusted by moving the bed slightly for better TV viewing.
- We upgraded our room from an accessible one near the gym due to privacy concerns; the new room was much better—higher up with more space and included a bathtub! Just wish there was brighter lighting.
